Death's Dice
--How to Play--
- Start the round by placing a bet and then rolling the dice.
- Additional bets can be placed on cards. Roll the criteria listed on the bottom of the card to attain it. Cards can be used before a die roll is applied or saved for the future.
- Reach 21 or pass at 19-20 to get a payout.
- Exceed 21, and you'll lose your bet.
Gamble against Death himself for a chance again at life, but one small mistake could cost you everything! Death's Dice adds more strategy to the classic of Blackjack by letting you earn cards that can help you out. There's a lot more to think about than just pushing your luck.
Created in 48 hours for the GMTK 2022 Jam. I ran short on time so there's no actual ending to the game yet, but there will be soon!

okay but picture this, what if the dice turned into bread rolls. You start chowing down. They're really good rolls. Suddenly a little honey, cinnamon butter, all kinds of toppings appear on the table. Your dipping and spreading, getting into it. death is like "hey man you need to stop" but it's too late. At this point you're ENGORGED off these rolls. Everytime you eat one, another appears. It's like a dream. Death is being a real loser and keeps tryna dissuade you from devouring these tender pastries, but there's no stopping you. You go "oh my, oh wow, yum yum yum i love rolls oh yowie nom nom nom". that would be cool i think
